The Hernia Clinic was established in 2008 by consultant general surgeon, Mr Nathan Coombs. He sees and treats patients within his NHS practice, based in Swindon’s Great Western Hospital, and offers a private hernia service to his patients at the Shalbourne Clinic and the Ridgeway Hospital.
Using the latest methods, including laparoscopic surgery and local anaesthetic techniques, The Hernia Clinic provides a comprehensive service to deal with all types of hernias. Consultations may be arranged during the day, in the evenings, or at any convenient time depending on circumstances.
Mr Coombs is fully accredited specialist surgeon and “fee-assured” by all health insurance companies including Aviva, AXA, BUPA, Cigna, Simply Health and WPA.
